Satan's Goal

One might think that the ultimate goal of Satan is to destroy man by taking us with him into the Lake of Fire, but I don't believe Satan cares about us, on any lever. His attack on us is to hurt Almighty God, by taking as many of God's people away from Jehovah as possible, to the Devil's ultimate destination, knowing that his sentence of death is without mercy, Satan having been thrown out of Heaven, and that the "Lake of Fire" was designed especially for him, but certainly not exclusively for him, also for the false prophets and all who are not written in the "Book of Life". Lucifer's ultimate goal is to punish, in any way he can, the God who exiled him from his previous home, from God's presence. Satan's desire was to be equal with or rise above Jehovah, God Almighty, "O shining star, son of the morning, how you have fallen from the heavens! You awakened the nations, you are cut down to the ground. For you have said in your heart. I will go up to the heavens; I will raise my throne above the stars of God and I will sit in the mount of meeting, in the sides of the north. I will rise over the heights of the clouds; I will be compared to the Most High." (Isaiah 14:12-14). His focus may be on harming us, but his main concentration is on inflicting pain in the heart of our God and Creator, which is also his God and Creator. However, God is also his Judge, who sentenced him to an eternal death. The Devil is bound by no rules, only by whatever Jehovah allows him to do, and Satan will try anything on us, to trick us, confuse us or miss-direct us from trusting in God and His only-begotten Son, Jesus. Jehovah God, in His wisdom, does give Satan some freedom in his attacks on mankind, but only what is according to God's plans, and His will for mankind, and Satan takes full use of every freedom he is granted.

The main strategy of Satan is to eliminate God Almighty from the minds of everyone or anyone, because His desire is to replace God with himself and if not himself, then with anything or anyone other then Jehovah, it really doesn't matter to Satan, any success is a win for Satan. He does know he cannot prevent his destiny, but any success for him will be a pain to the heart of Jehovah God, because God loves His human family, His creation, and loosing any one of them would be a degree of success for Lucifer, as he was named before he was cast out of Heaven. Unfortunately, Satan's efforts has been very successful in many ways, because he has deceived many of God's people, Christians and non-Christian's; God maintains hope for all, even if they have ignored or have fallen into any of Satan's deceptive traps, God continues to wait and hope for every soul to see and accept the light of truth, available only in His word.

Satan has developed an unlimited supply of deceptions that he has been using for centuries, and as some men wise up to his tactics, he keeps implementing new deceptions. A few of his tactics, we have become aware of but many are still undetected by most in all walks of life. Allow me to share a few of Satan's successes, with Biblical support. A most obvious and easily provable trap that has escaped the attention of most of the Christian communities, which the Devil has succeeded in, by taking God's personal name out of the many Bible translation. If you ask what Almighty God's personal name is, you will certainly get a few different answers unfortunately most Christians will be incorrect. In the Hebrew language, "Yehovah" as it is described in the Strong's Concordance Hebrew to English Dictionary part, #3068, that is commonly translated into English as "Jehovah"; this name is recorded in the Old Testament Hebrew text 6746 times, and very few translations have rendered this correctly, the King James Version Old Testament only represents "Jehovah" four time. The JKV New Testament doesn't have any Greek translation for God's personal name, consequently, the name "Jehovah" is almost never included in a Christian sermon or in the millions of Books written about the Bible, even though Jehovah, He is our one and only God, and our Father and He sustains us by His continued will, but His personal name is far from our lip and, unfortunately far from our heart.

Indirectly connected with this omission of God's name is the biggest deception from Satan and a most successful lie that has engulfed most of Christianity, which is the Trinity doctrine, this is considered by most Christians, a necessary doctrine in order to embrace the Christian faith. However, this triune god concept is not found anywhere in either the Old or the New Testaments, although there are a few verses many claim to suggest this understanding, for example, "Going, then, disciple all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." (Matthew 28:19). This verse claims nothing about the make-up of Almighty God, but it does list the three elements used in bringing someone to repentance of their sins and to start a new righteous life. Since God has a personal name, "Jehovah", this would indicate that He is an individual of one, and not a group of three in any sort of concept. Throughout God's word, God is described as one, "Hear, O Israel, Jehovah our God is one Jehovah." (Deuteronomy 6:4), "for all the peoples of the earth know that Jehovah, He is God; there is no other." (I Kings 8:60), "And let them know, Your name is Jehovah, that You alone are the Most High over all the earth." (Psalm 83:18), "For God is one, also there is one Mediator of God and of man, the man Jesus Christ." (I Timothy 2:5), and these are only a few of the hundred more verses stating God to be one, which is stated by God Himself in the first of the Ten Commandment, "I am Jehovah your God, who has brought you out of the land of Egypt from the house of bondage. You shall not have any other gods beside Me." (Exodus 20:2,3) and let us hear Christ's words, "And this is everlasting life that they may know You, the only true God and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent." (John 17:3). How can "one" be three, this would surely be a mystery, and that is precisely what the Trinity is labeled by many Christian theologians, a "mystery". John speaks of a mystery in Revelation, "And on her forehead was a name having been written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATION OF THE EARTH." (Revelation 17:5), but this mystery, the Trinity was not introduced into Christian doctrine until the fourth century, by man, the Emperor Constantine.

The Trinity doctrine goes beyond turning one into three, it introduces an additional person other then the two divine beings of the Godhead, those who do deserve our worship, Jehovah and God's Son, Jesus. Satan separates the personal spirits of both the Father and of the Son, and promotes an individual spirit as a third separate person of the Trinity, calling us to worship a third member of a god he introduces, fooling man by using capitol letters for this "Holy Spirit" as an addition to his triune god concept. A "holy spirit" is often mentioned throughout God's word, although this "holy spirit" is often referring to the spirit of God or the spirit of Jesus. Capitalizing "holy spirit" was a translator's decision, aiming to make it a name for an additional being. Knowing that the Trinity doctrine was introduced much before printing presses were invented and mass-producing Bibles, his task was easy in fooling the public by using the church leaders of that time. The spirit of Jehovah or the spirit of Jesus is part of their makeup, just as Jehovah's has a voice, or a hand, which are never capitalized. The Son of God is certainly divine, worthy of worship, because He was brought forth (begotten) from our God and Father, and He is just as His Father in every aspect, except Jehovah God possesses sovereign authority over everything and every one, including His only-begotten Son. The Father absolutely possesses all authority, but has given some authority to His Son Jesus for the purpose of preparing and bringing us home to the kingdom of God. The Son did not have this authority until His Father gave Him authority, "And coming up Jesus talked with them saying, All authority in Heaven and earth was given to Me." (Matthew 28:18). This does not mean that Jehovah God gave away His authority but He is sharing His authority with His Son until, "Then is the end - when He delivers the kingdom to God, even the Father; when He makes to cease all rule and all authority and power." (I Corinthians 15:24). If you desire more information on the Trinity doctrine, you can search the history books for its origin into Christianity, which dates back to the fourth century, through the early church. The Trinity, in name or concept is not found anywhere in God's word, only in the history books of man, and please test me on this. However, you must exclude two verses, "For there are three that bear record in Heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit, and these three are one And there are three that bear witness in earth The spirit, the water, and the blood and the three are in agreement." (I John 5:7,8). The italicized portion of these verses did not appear in most all copies, only in a few of the later copies, these words were added and some Bible translations make note of this, if they do include the additions. This information was supplied in my King James Version Study Bible. Some Bibles just italicize the added words.

Another deception of Satan is that in man's personal death: man either goes straight to Heaven or to Hell, before Christ's second advent. There are two deceptions given here: first, when we die, we go nowhere except to the grave; we turn back to the substances we were created with, the dust of the earth, and our soul, which was given to us by God ceases to exist, "His breath will go out; he returns to the earth; in that day his thoughts perish." (Psalm 146:4), "Dead ones do not live; departed spirits do not rise; because of this You visited and destroyed them, and caused all memory of them to perish." (Isaiah 26:14) and, "For the living know that they shall die; but the dead do not know anything; nor do they have any more a reward; for their memory is forgotten." (Ecclesiastes 9:5). Many supporters of Satan's death deception, present the verse involving Abraham and Lazarus, which appears in Luke 16:19-31, this story tells of Lazarus being in the Bosom of Abraham having been sent to Heaven, and a rich man, who also died, having been sent to Hell, who desires comfort from Lazarus. Many claim this to be an actual account in Heaven; others logically view it as just a story to make a point. There are only three men that are stated to have been translated into Heaven, to be in the presence of God: Enoch, "And Enoch walked with God; then he was not - for God took him." (Genesis 5:24). The second was Elijah, "And it happened, as they were going on and speaking, behold, a chariot of fire and horses of fire came. And they separated between them both, and Elijah went up in a tempest to Heaven." (II Kings 2:11). An the third was Moses, even though he did experience death, "But Michael, the archangel, when contending with the Devil, he argued about the body of Moses - he dared not bring a judgment of blasphemy, but said, Let the Lord rebuke you." (Jude 1:9). This verse doesn't actually say that Moses was translated into Heaven, but when on the mount of transfiguration, Moses was also there with Elijah speaking with Jesus, "And behold! Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him." (Matthew 17:3). There is nothing more recorded about anyone else being translated to Heaven or to Hell, before or after death. As you have read earlier, "...the dead do not know anything..." Knowing this, the story about Lazarus and Abraham is not a reality, Abraham has not yet been translated to Heaven and neither was Lazarus, according to God's word, it was told to illustrate a point.

According to Satan's death deception, there is a place called Hell, but the only place where sinners are bound for is in the "Lake of Fire", and will cease to be a place after all the fuel has been used up, this event will be a reality after the second resurrection involving unrighteous man, and eternal an death is its result, "For the wages of sin is death; but the free gist of God is everlasting life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23), not an eternal life in Hell, "And if anyone was not found having been written in the scroll of life, he was thrown into the Lake of Fire." (Revelation 20:15). Hell is the grave, Strong's #86 haides, "Hade"s or the place (state) of departed souls; - grave, hell. Old testament "Hell", sheowl hades or the world of the dead; - grave hell, pit.

Justification by faith or, righteousness by faith is another of Satan's most destructive tactics, designed to put the Christian at ease, giving him/her the feeling that they are already saved, just by accepting Jesus as their Savior, because Christ Jesus has already accomplish this for us, implying that there is little beyond having faith that one needs to acquire salvation; "Once saved, always saved" is part of this same attitude, but only some Christians believe and preach this. In a certain way, this has some validity to it, but there is much more involved in the process of being saved. The sermons and articles I've read about, "Righteousness By Faith" do an excellent and convincing job for the shallow listener, that this subject is presented in God's word with just a few selection of verses, however, some things that are never presented when sharing this subject is, the call from Christ for all to follow Him, "Then Jesus said to His disciples, If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and let him bear the cross, and let him follow Me." (Matthew 16:24) and "For you were called to this, for even Christ suffered on our behalf, leaving behind an example for us, that you should follow His steps." (I Peter 2:21). What is involved in following Christ, "His steps"? First, of course, this is doing as He has instructed us, which are from the Father, "Jesus answered them and said, My teaching is not Mine, but of the One who sent Me." (John 7:16). Following Jesus also includes walking as He walked during His earthly walk, which was in perfect step with His Father's commands, laws and precepts, given to us, for us to do, and Christ's walk is an example for us, and also for the purpose of qualifying Himself during His human state to qualify Himself as the "Lamb of God", which Christ accomplished perfectly during His first advent. We are to walk in His footsteps, by His example and with His strength, which He desires to give to those who make it their aim, their desire and their actions, to be as Christ was during His first advent. We cannot accomplish this on our own, but with our request to God and our sincere efforts to walk according to God's commands, Christ will give us the power we lack because we ask, need, and will commit our efforts toward being righteous.

Another part missing from all the many "Righteousness By Faith" sermons I've heard is that Christ has also called us to "repentance" which is most necessary in our attempt in following our Lord and Savior, "From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, Repent! For the kingdom of Heaven has drawn near." (Matthew 4:17). Repentance is something that is our responsibility to do, simply because we are the ones who has transgress against Jehovah God's perfect and pure laws. Our repentance is to understand why it is a sin and to desire to not repeat our foolish transgressions, causing us to discontinue from doing that which we were doing to transgress God's laws. For conformation of this, we should follow the example of Jehovah Himself, "And the angel put forth his hand to destroy Jerusalem. And Jehovah repented as to the evil and said to the angel who was destroying among the people, Enough! Now stop your hand. And the angel of Jehovah was near the thrashing-floor of Aranunah the Jebustite." (II Samuel 24:16), "if that nation against whom I have spoken will turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do to it." (Jeremiah 18:8) and, "So now make good your ways and your doings, and obey the voice of Jehovah your God; and Jehovah will repent toward the evil that He has spoken against you." (Jeremiah 26:13). God also repented from what He had already done, and regretted His actions, "And Jehovah said, I will wipe off man whom I've created from the face of the earth, from man to beast, to creeping things, and to the birds of the heavens; for I repent that I made them." (Genesis 6:7). This is similar to what we need to do, first regret our evil and foolish actions against God or man and cease from doing these acts in the future, and of course, if you ask God to help you in this struggle, then, He will direct His Son to help you in your need, but all according to our sincerity. This is where faith enters, our faith that God will alert Christ to help our efforts to be like Him, in following His lead, His perfect earthly walk according to His Father's commands and laws. Those holding onto sin will not be allowed to enter God's pure and sinless kingdom environment. We need to cleanse ourselves of all our unrighteousness, "Who shall go into the hill of Jehovah? And who shall stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart; he who has not lifted up his soul to guile, and has not sworn in deceit. He shall take up the blessing from Jehovah, and righteousness from the God of his salvation." (Psalm 24:3-5), and also, "Then having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and of spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God." (II Corinthians 7:1); it is our heart that needs to be purified and sanctified, to be accepted into the presence of God. Throughout the Old Testament, which is an example for our learning, the Israelite often transgressed God's laws and God punished them in a variety of ways, including allowing the nation of Israel to be captured and enslaved, and when they repented and asked for God's forgiveness, He always sent them a deliverer to release them, Samson and Gideon were two, Christ was the last and the ultimate Deliverer, but our deliverance now is on an individual level, not entire nations or groups of any size, "So then, my beloved, even as you always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much rather in my absence, work out your salvation with fear and trembling." (Philippians 2:12). This was successful only when each man repented from his transgressions, and that is what Christ has called us to do, repent, "Men, Ninevites will rise up in the Judgment of this generation and will condemn it because they repented at the preaching of Jonah..." (Luke 11:32).

A most painful deception for me is the teaching that denies Jehovah of the glory He justly deserves, from the overall Christian community in their declaring that Christ is the actual Creator of Heaven and earth due to John 1:3, if one considers God's word to be consistent from Genesis to Revelation, therefore it is incorrectly translated. I easily proved this by the verses that presents "Jehovah" by name in the Old Testament, plus at least the same amount that didn't include His personal name.  This is recorded well over a hundred times in the Hebrew text, and all these verses were inspired to the many Bible writer by the Son of God, the Word (John 1:1). To share just a few, "These are the births of the heavens and of the earth when they were created in the day that Jehovah was making the earth and the heavens." (Genesis 2:4), "And Jehovah said to him, Who has made the mouth of man? Or who makes one dumb, or deaf, or seeing, or one blind? Is it not I, Jehovah?" (Exodus 4:11), "For six days Jehovah made the heavens and the earth the sea, and all which is in them, and He rested on the seventh day; on account of this Jehovah blessed the sabbath day and sanctified it." (Exodus 20:11). And God continues, "And Jehovah answered Job and said...Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth..." (Job 38,39:all), "For You have rejoiced me with Your work, O Jehovah; I will shout in the works of Your hands." (Psalm 92:4), "the glory of Jehovah shall be forever; Jehovah shall rejoice in His work. He looks to the earth, and it trembles; He touches the hill and they smoke." (Psalm 104:31,32), "so that they may see and know and consider and understand together, that the hand of Jehovah has done this; the holy One of Israel has created it." (Isaiah 41:20), and God's Son recorded these words, "before He made the earth and the fields or the highest part of the dust of the world. When He prepared the heavens, I was there, when He set a circle on the face of the deep, when He gave the sea its limits, that the waters should not go beyond His commands; when He decreed the foundation of the earth." (Proverbs 8:26-29). There are also verses in the New Testament, but the name of God Almighty "Jehovah" is not ever presented in the New Testament, nor a Greek translation, "Heaven is My throne and the earth a footstool of My feet; what house will you build Me, says the Lord (Jehovah); or what the place of My rest? Did not My hands make all these things?" (Acts 7:49,50, a quote from Isaiah 66:1.2), and He declares His intention for making new heavens and a new earth, "And the One sitting on the throne said, behold, I make all things new, and He says to me, Write, because these things are faithful and true." (Revelation 21:5).

The understanding I just expressed will get reactions from most Christians because of John 1:3, which says in most Bible, "All things came into being through Him, and without Him (Jesus) not even one thing came into being that has come into being." (JP Green Interlinear Bible), "All things were made by Him; and without him was not anything made." (KJV Bible), and this is what the Christian community's understands, but this is contrary to the other one hundred plus verses that states the Creator is God Almighty, our Father, who alone bears the name "Jehovah" in Deuteronomy 6:4 "Hear, O Israel, Jehovah our God is one Jehovah." The word in question in John 1:3 is Strong's #1223 translated in this translation as "through" and "by", but to be consistent with all of God's word, "with" or "for sake" is better, please look this up for yourself. We should know and must believe that God's word is surely consistent from Genesis to Revelation, because if we don't, then how can we trust and rely on all of the words Jehovah has given us; God does not lie. The Old Testament writings have been in the possession and control of the Hebrew nation since the very first inspired words were given to whomever wrote Genesis, "In the beginning..."

and all was written before Jesus arrived as a Child of Mary. Many Old Testament verses were written about the Messiah's future arrival, with details of when and how, but they did not honor His arrival and for two thousand years after, they never considered Him as the predicted Messiah. At this point, the Hebrew text has not been changed. So to me, the Old Testament, original Hebrew text is the standard and is trustworthy. However, the various translations into other languages differs from one translation to another, and I have already given you the largest incorrect translation change earlier, when the translators substituted God Almighty's personal name with "Lord" or "God". There are other changes in the Old Testament translation but this point has already been made. The Christian translators have obviously changed some parts of their translations of the Hebrew text, so its only logical to understand that they would not think twice about changing some parts of the New Testament text, but this can not be confirm because, to my knowledge, there are no New Testament originals, however, understanding that the apostils, were all of the Hebrew race, and were sent to reach lost Hebrews, wouldn't they have spoken and writing in the Hebrew text? Paul was the exception because he was called by Jesus to reach out to the other nations. He may have written some in Greek, and maybe in other languages, Paul possessing a gift of speaking many languages, Latin and Spanish.

The only large deception I din't address here is the Sabbath day, the fourth Commandment, which is Saturday, the seventh day of the week, and Sunday being the first day. But this is so simple to see and understand, I can't even add it as a deception from Satan, it's merely man's desire to do as he pleases, since there is not one Bible verse that expresses that Christians should keep holy the day Christ was resurrected from the grave, by Jehovah, nor is there a verse indicating any change in the Jehovah's day of rest. Deception is all around the Christian community, not on purpose; Satan is a master at what he does, deceiving even the elect, caution should be part of every Christian's personal program. All the words of man must be confirmed with God's word and unfortunately, that includes, to some degree, the version and translation of your personal Bible. Bible consistency needs to be considered, and it is possible to obtain a Bible with the Hebrew and the Greek text, by using an Interlinear Bible with both texts, plus the Strong's Concordance to access a Hebrew and Greek to English dictionary. The truth, presented in God's word is necessary for correct understanding, don't treat this lightly; seek God with your sincere and complete efforts; there is only one truth.
